K. Browning is a California-based photographer and writer.
He has directed and produced television for PBS affiliates in Connecticut and New York; was a feature writer and stringer for the Associated Press in Europe; and received an award for Journalistic Excellence from Columbia University’s School of Journalism. Browning is also the recipient of Certificates of Merit from the National Poetry Association for his poetry, and his stage play, A Piece of Cloth, was performed for a live radio audience at Yale University.
From an early age, and further amplified by his work in television, Browning has been fascinated with the nature, texture, and dimensionality of light and color. His photography seeks to reveal their profound relationship.
He lives and works in Pacific Palisades, California.
